larry
don't you have to release it 1st? Just wondering 'cause I never heard of that command line
lazydesert
i dont think it makes a difference whether or not you release it first.. but it wont hurt ;) start>run cmd ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /? to view documentation and other commands :D
larry
Ok I'll try thanks. The command I was talking about brought up a box with all the info in windows and you can click release from an option. What I did is hooked up a hub to my cable router and the computer hooked up to the hub isn't going online. Maybe I'm missing something???
