Personally I think my version of the subscriber sig is original.

How long does it take for your subscription to take effect? Is Redmak the only one who sets it up?

Mine took two or three days to activate. You won't get the neowin automatically, you have to ask for it. I didn't get the e-mail because I really didn't need or want it, and it saves neowin some resources to use somewhere else.

Subscribing won't give you anything extremely special, just the comfort of knowing that you helped Neowin in a positive way. :) You're not going to be smited by Neobond and the other admins because you don't subscribe. ;)

You have to PM one of the admins I think to make up the email in the first place.

I think only staff have that. Subscribers get a choice of others, I think. Something like @neowinmail.net

I'll let a subscriber give you a proper....

I am satisfied in knowing that I can help Neowin financially ... The stuff you get is just for show ...

But it is pretty cool having tthat badge :p

So glad they got our stars back (Subscribers used to not have our stars ...

Not that the stars matter but I think they add to the effect ... And allow you to set goals.

I have been here for over a year, under different accounts ( I have moved alot ). I have been with the beta community for a while and so. I use to come here for many of my computer problems and I feel I should pay you guys back. :)

If you decide to subscribe you get access to the members only section of the forum.

Pretty small but there is a thread on the members sigs in there.

By the way ... I did wait a while (I think about half a year) before I decided to subscribe.

If you want to that's great but I waited to make sure the site was something I would use daily.
