Updater worked good. Perfect, clean, simple and fast.

I did remove an item from the startup list but it keeps coming back. Is there anyway lets say you could have a feature that wouldnt let that item add itself to startup again? That would be a key feature!

Like lets say i had a virus and every restart it added itself again to the registry or startup folder you could have some feature some way to not allow it to re-add itself once its been removed.

hmm.. i could easily mirror the file for you however im unsure of the best way to ensure the file on the mirror is always up to date... Was thinking of some sort of cronjob to check with the main server...

i could setup a cronjob to redownload from the main server every X amount of hours but what would be better is if someone had a script to compare the verson on a mirror with the verson on the server and then update the mirror if neccecery.

unfortantly i have no idea on how to do that.

Edit:

with the startup list would it be possible to add an option to Disable a program running from startup but keep it in the list incase its needed later?

What about rsync?

This would probably require NeoCleaner to run all the time, and even then would it might not be able to stop an entry from coming back... I would suggest a virus scan or Ad-Aware or Spybot S&D to get rid of something like that.

So far looks very nice. One thing, watch with memory usage. ~12 MB for little application is a lot. Tray to clean after each procedure (I don?t know bat maybe VB just work like that).&nbsp:ermm:m:

NeoCleaner is coded in VB, so the memory usage might be a little high, but this app only needs to run when you want it to, so I think the memory usage isn't a big deal, especially with today's computers. If you have 256MB ram or more you should be fine.

ive never used rsync before but its on the server...

I've never heard of rsync before. From the information I've found online about it, it sounds good to me. If you want to mirror using rsync, then that is ok with me. Any software that checks my site's files and downloads newer files than what you have should work.

If you make it to clean folders auto, add C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch, it just has worthless junk in it, and it takes some space up :)

Make it: Empty Recycle Bin

Clean out Clip-board (make it an option that you can choose)

Delete Unused Desktop Icons

Delete Temp. Files

Delete Memory Dumps

Etc etc

Then i would replace Ccleaner for Ncleaner :)

errm im not sure how

do both servers need it running or something?

You got a nice little program going there, great work.

I think you should make a small mailing list on your webspace for those who are interested in your program and are waiting for the final release. By doing this, you'll get more downloads and people will be informed about it more incase they forget this thread has been created or can't be bothered to keep checking it.

A new version is available via the update agent. Includes the following changes:

Version 0.1.0.78 (BETA)

- UPDATE: Added run toolbar button to startup programs.

- UPDATE: Startup programs can now be disabled.

- UPDATE: Add/Remove programs feature is now working.

- FIX: Crash when resetting all settings.

Working Good now :)

Make it so after you click on another tab (for now its just add remove programs) and then go into settings and when you go back it stays there.

LOl that was confusing.

Meaning if you click the add remove programs tab then go into settings and then click ok it goes back to the startup tab.

Also on add remove programs make it auto refresh after you uninstall something

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I've encountered an error.

I just did not selected any of the startup items, and clicked run by mistake, and I got an error message to send to microsoft, and than obviously Neocleaner closes. I know nothing about programming and stuff, but is it possible to eliminate the error, so when you click run (by mistake), nothing will happen?

tintsetp.exe - Here is the scoop on tIntSetP. The big question: what is tintsetp.exe and is it spyware, a trojan and if so, how do I get rid of tIntSetP?

tintsetp.exe (tIntSetP) - Details

The tintsetp.exe process is part of Microsoft's 'Input Message Editor' and is used when translating Japanese and/or Chinese text in Internet Explorer, Outlook and other Microsoft Programs. If you do not use it, it can be terminated.

tintsetp.exe is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing tIntSetP may adversly impact your system.

The Spy Bot database currently registers tintsetp.exe to Microsoft.

This is part of Microsoft Windows.
