found a small bug.  after using the latest installer, and then updating, it always shows the mru stuff though the startup tab is the one selected.  it does this when starting the app, with the option to remember the last used tab both on and off.

 I got that 2...

I'll have a new build up soon. Give me some time as I'm trying to release less builds and get more done.

Off-topic, I just picked up the Logitech z-5300e 5.1 surround speaker set and they're great! got em for $199.99 US at CompUSA.

Ok, I will stay tuned for new builds. I will post bugs as much as I can.

Congrats for your new speakers. I'm going to build a new computer soon :) Really looking forward, my current pc is SO old :p

The next build to be released will be a major update. It will only available via an installer, because of such major changes. It's important to uninstall the old version, and delete all files in the NeoCleaner folder (C:\Program Files\Night Iguana\NeoCleaner). Settings saved by the registry will be saved. The new build should be available in a few days.

can you make the autoupdater download the installer then run it in some sort of silent install mode?

e.g download installer and run it with the paths preset so it installs over teh old version rather than prompting for folder again.

Sneak Preview

Here's a sneak preview of what I've been working on.

The checkboxes are disabled because the features aren't available yet. They will be enabled one at a time, of course. :)

The large blue banner at the top is pretty simplistic, I was hoping someone could come up with a cool logo? The logo has to be stretchable in width, a minimum of 550x50.

This new build will be available soon. Once released, and as bugs are squashed, I will move on to implementing the other features, and cleaning up the Startup Programs and Remove Programs features.

Thanks guys, I'll have it ready as soon as I can.

EDIT: Preview (Download) :ninja:

With this preview, I want to make sure that all UI bugs are squashed (other than the icons on the top toolbar of Computer Cleanup, and clicking on Registry Issues does nothing) and any bugs concerning the Startup Programs and Remove Programs features.

Hey Gelob :) You did the logo? Excellent :D

Anyways UI stuff seems OK, however I sort of don't like how the SETTINGS stuff is put. It's like alot of stuff is pressed to a top corner, and the rest of the page is blank (if maximized). That's just one thing I tought of at first impression, not a big deal hehe.

Excellent, good job jimbo :D

No i didnt...the one i am making is coming!

No matter how much I resize it, it stays the same, even maximized.

I think it has to do with the Visual Style used (in this case Windows Classic).

Is that Windows Classic or a mockup of Windows Classic? I'd suggest try to use default Luna, or another VS, just to check if it remaines with the problem. For sure it's not the applications because we all have it installed.

Or the text size set in the appearance window?

I tried with the default Windows Classic scheme and still doesn't work.

I tried with Luna and it works, just as I thought is has to do with Windows Classic. ;)

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
