brn2prgrm Posted June 17, 2002 Share Posted June 17, 2002 Ok guys, well I did a remote assistance with Goku and got the problem fixed. It looked like someone fooled the dns lookup and redirected hotmail.com to a totally different ip address other than hotmails. I was able to override this by adding the hotmail.com hostname and correct ip address to the hosts file and it worked fine. If anyone else ever gets this error feel free to contact me for more help. Nothing unusual was in there. I had to manually add the correct IP address for the hotmail servers, because something else was redirecting him.
