I can't imagine these being designed for racing. For a more day-to-day use in mind however these could be excellent!

i tought the funding for these tires had run out and no one cared about them?

or am i thinking of a similar tyre possibly dunlop?

saw them a while back in a magazine or something... but they're awesome...

i don't think they'd do well... because morons wouldn't be able to put 22" chrome spinners on their car.. :rolleyes: (or maybe they will?)

very nice.. wonder how they perform under braking and wet weather, and i wonder what would happen on hte motorway if the supporting frame collapsed..

those flexible spokes look week, what you were to hit at high speed say a rock, wouldn't the hit get to the rim due to the flexible spokes or do they have a say "flexing limit" to a point were they are hard so in case of a fast impact the rim doesn't bend ?

edit: and the last pic with the structure looks nothing like the wheel on the car, the deformable wheel doesn't appear in the real pics, just spokes and then tread, before spoke it's clearly the rim.

I agree. It might me better than what we use now, but I just don't like the design.
