Front page news and pictures

I was thinking it would be nice to have pictures next to the actual articles instead just logos when it comes to front-page news. Personally I think it would be much more visually pleasing and more informative. Perhaps neowin should have people whose sole purpose is to create graphics for the news articles?

Come on, think about the dial up people. Also, change doesn't have to happen just because it can. Leave things as they are neowin, I personally don't want to see pictures of kb987345986345 or tattybum.b50.vir.x.57 (thinking about it, how could you show a picture of a virus or a kb article?)

i kinda agree, it does look nicer, but it wouldn't work for everything - what would you show if the news was "Digital Clock as Thin as Paper" and there were no pictures released about it? or a hacker gone to jail. or a merger between two companies.

well I guess it's up to neowin, i could see it working, but the front page would look very different (and would take up a bit more space)

It's simpler with just the logos.

And honestly, it's not such a big thing to trouble about- it's a tougher job for the posters aswell.

I think Neowin handles this issue very good. They use the company logo to show what they are talking about and links, screenshots to show some more information.
