Fozzieb Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 Hi there, On my Mac Mini I have an external USB2 drive, some times when I start up the Mac and OSX loads the drive is not there, I have to unplug it and plug it back in again. I had this problem with my external usb2 icybox/200gb seagate setup. When it was FAT it wouldnt always mount properly.... formatted it in mac journalled and it has worked perfectly every time. mounts within 10 seconds of turning it on!
