SumDude719
since i got my computer, i've had problems playing DVDs. it installs a program called PCFriendly to play them. when i go to play it, i get this error message: PCFriendly is unable to detect your DVD decoder, or PCFriendly does not currently support your DVD decoder. Please click "Go Online" to go to PCFriendly's online support website to troubleshoot this problem. Or click "Cancel" to skip this process. when i click "go online" it told me to run PCFriendly's system Info program, which i did. i went to the MPEG/DVD section and under DVD Info it says this: DVD Info: Comments: No DVD device found!! does anyone know where i could find a "dvd decoder" or whatever i need? i had this same problem when i was running WinMe. im now running xp pro. it didnt even work at factory default settings, so im not sure whats wrong. i remember going to tech support and they obviously didnt help. thanks a lot.
