Gfunk4life
this goes for any sport. I didnt see ryan leaf play Ncaa football, but he did bad in the NFL.Why? and i know others were great NCAA players but bad Pro players. why do you thing this happens ? or the other way around. i think NCAA and Pro sports that a diff. level of players and also its a diff type of game(even if its the same sport. bigbluepride35
Game is faster in the pros. Defenses are more sophisticated. Offenses are becoming like rocket science. That's at least three reasons right there. bigbluepride35
Plus a longer season in the NFL. Some adjustment has to be made there I'm sure. huggybear102
Maturity, thinking everything is supposed to come to them. Not putting in enough work to impress people. Being products of a college system. Another quick three. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/339381-great-ncaa-playes-bad-pro-players/#findComment-586152669 Share on other sites
Hupp
maturity, and the speed fo the game are the two biggest problems. Some players can't handle the responsibility of being a pro player. Others can't handle the amount of wealth they are thrown into or can't handle getting told no. Lawrence Phillips is a great example of that, he had too many problems before he even got to the pros. That just made it 100x worse. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/339381-great-ncaa-playes-bad-pro-players/#findComment-586153131 Share on other sites
