Hmm, anyways, Iron Maiden releases a new album in September titled A Matter of Life and Death. Don't know if anyones posted it yet. It's been at the website for a while.
I heard that single that was leaked, it was rather dull. It had maybe 2 decent riffs and bored me quite a bit. I know he's not exactly metal any more but Marty Friedman's new solo album Loudspeaker is pretty kick ass. The guy is a genius.

I'm definatly pumped for this cd. I HATED redneck, but these samples are bringing back my love for this band.

We had a whole page on the song and most liked it :D

I thought it was a killer song, gave something different for a change. :woot:

I can't wait for it, next month

hmm... i liked redneck better than the rest of the samples. after listening to the samples they almost all sounded the same with very little variation at all imo...

Damm the new Slayer album rocks!!!! excellent thrash metal!!!

It's decent. But the guitar sounds kinda ruin it. Not nearly heavy enough. I was hoping there might be a difference in tonal qualities between the Ep & the Full length. Not so. Oh well. It is faster then the last one.

It's alright for a new release after a few years, nothing new and special. Other than the impressive cover art really.

I love the cover but damm Christians hate it

Only because it had jesus on it... urm they don't own some fake guy.

No but they are quite into it arn't they. They love Jesus. And they get upset when they see him tattooed in 'Jihad' forarms off, looking like he's been smoking dope with a pirate patch in a sea of blood and severed heads. It's bound to bring a tear to one or two chrisitans. But I love it. Has anyone seen the 'safe to sell in stores version'? I have it sucks. I so want the full cover art album.

I wonder what the inside cover is like?

Got misery signals new album it's pretty good never liked their older one. Alexisonfire's new album is out as well. I hated them before but their new release isn't too bad.

Few recommendations for people this month (based on albums I liked):

Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain [Progressive Black/Doom]

All Shall Perish - The Price of Existence [Melodic Deathcore]

Bury Your Dead - Beauty and the Breakdown [Metalcore]

Eluveitie - Spirit [Melodic Death/Folk]

Heaven Shall Burn - Deaf to our Prayers [Melodic Deathcore]

Lostprophets - Liberation Transmission [Pop/Rock]

Rise Against - The Sufferer and the Witness [Emo/Punk]

Setherial - Death Triumphant [Melodic Black]

Vader - Impressions In Blood [Death/Thrash]

Testament!

Saw Testament on Tuesday (Bradford). Excellent if a little short (1hr 10mins), no encore.

Had a strange band supporting called GORE. Never heard of them but they were quite weird - one dressed in a stripped convict outfit, one wearing an apron, and talking about Faeces quite a bit. If my ears heard correctly they could have sounded Welsh but I cannot be sure.

All Shall Perish - The Price of Existence [Melodic Deathcore] - Great album

Vader - Impressions In Blood [Death/Thrash] - Loving that at the mo fav track is "as heavens collide" :D

devstorm - I will amit i'm a learner to Deicide. I got all of their albums and the new one and wow i was blown away from the excellent death metal!!

HOLY CRAP

I missed the slayer album coming out!! :o

I must get this right away! I have all their other stuff!

Yeah. Still not into Glenns voice too much but the music makes up for it.

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
