Yeah to be honest i'm not a big fan of Iron Maiden but i thought i would give it a go. I only found 2 songs that i really liked. Black Label Society album was good but it had way to many slow tunes, not enough heavy songs on :pinch:

I got the BLS last night. I think it's one of their better ones. They're really hit or miss with me. I loved 1919 & Hellride, this one reminds me more of those.

it's exactly what the book had. phrasing is not exactly the way it should be.

Maybe if you didn't download the cd, you would know that :D

Owned

Just got mine in the post today :woot: even know i downloaded :shifty:

I can't buy it yet. Not available in stores where I wish to purchase it. sadly :(.

So I bought ashes of the wake instead. My 60 cd rack is filled I need a new one :).

Last week I got the new I Killed The Prom Queen album Music for the Recently Deceased and it is sweeeeet. For those who don't know IKTPQ, they are a band from Adelaide, Australia. Some people would call their music metal some whould call it metalcore and others would say they are a hardcore band, me personally think that they are a metal band with hardcore roots/background. Their third studio album Music for the Recently Deceased was just realiased in Aust and should be out in other countries soon. So check them out on MySpace and their offical website if you wanna here some good Australian metal.

Also has anyone heard the new Hatebreed album?

Black Label Society - Shot To Hell

I heard that yesterday. Zakk can write some damn good lyrics but he's starting to get really repetive and it's bothering the hell out of me. He could do so much better but he seems to have lost interest or something.

I seriously never thought I would ask this here, but can someone suggest some good death metal bands. I'm ****ing loving what I've been listening to, which is, Job For A Cowboy and As Blood Runs Black. These bands are great and really I've started to appreciate the guttural pig vocals, and was hoping for some light on who else is really good, besides Cannibal Corpse.

Hmm... JFAC and ABRB are both metalcore bands. Are you looking for Deathcore or Death metal?

Infact I havn't seen it leaked. Also I don't want to download it. I swore I would wait until it's released so I can keep the excitement and tension building until October 31st. I'll listen to the single when it's released on myspace on the 4th Sep.

Well you gotta start with Death, Obituary, Napalm Death, Carcass & Entombed. Also check out Pestilence, Krisiun, Nile, Behemoth, At The Gates & Malevolent Creation. I can also vouch for the latest Deicide. Although the older ones I'm not so into so those you'll have to check out at your own risk.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
