[WIP] My Longhorn "5203" version

Hey guys :D ,

The other days I saw the screenshots of Longhorn build 5203 and I love how it look. I decide to try to port it to XP and started working over my Longhorn Athens theme. Here is what I have done. It?s not exactly the same because is not possible but look very similar.

Im going to create a WindowBlinds version too

does anyone know why certain themes CUT text dialog boxes sometimes

i.e. reading something in the caption windows and a couple pixels are removed from the button text and such make it look cut off on each side

But Windows 2000 and Windows XP have never had any such problem.  And yet, we still see some uninformed, but vocal, user claim that <Program X> is "bloated" and uses a "ton" of memory.  Those people come in two forms:  The guy who really has no idea what he's talking about and the guy who thinks 10 megabytes of memory is a "ton" of memory.

Go educate yourself http://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=1&AID=77493 now I don't use either but have both like both. Yes WB has more features but bloated is just showing you know very little.

Looks great! Jemaho is already doing a 5203 version (msstyle i think tho) but i'm a big fan of your themes and i'm sure you'll do a great wb version.

By the way WB uses just 445kb on my machine which is seriously un-bloated!!

I really think that there is too much glow around the text on the windows.

Other wise, it looks awsome! but I would rather have it as an MsStyle.

I downloaded the Neowin Patch thing and when I open this it opens as Windows XP Style for a second then goes back to the regular blue Style.

No, this theme is a MSStyle. You need StyleXP or the patch.
