4.3.1 Firmware for Speedtouch 510 Family

Recommended Posts

Finally there's an update for the Thomson Speedtouch 510 family, bringing it to version 4.3.1.

Here 's the installer, and here's the image.

A few points:

* As far as I can see this upgrade is compatible with all Speedtouch 510 models (ISDN or analog, usb port or version with integrated hub).

* Before flashing reset all settings to default.

* Connect the modem directly to your pc using a Straight UTP cable (no switches or other routers).

* At the end of the upgrade procedure, you need to enter a username and password. Normally this would be "Administrator" and a blank pasword. If this is not accepted, power off and power on the modem. You can now access the webinterface via http://10.0.0.138.

I just flashed my Speedtouch from version 4.2.7 to this new 4.3.1, and:

* Sometimes the led for 'ethernet' doesn't work, deconnect and reconnect the ethernet cable solves it. It's just the led that doesn't work, not the port. (even when the LED doesn't work, I have ethernet connectivity...)

* The whole webinterface has changed, and is even more userfriendly. Works completely different than the old one, and isn't to hard to get used to.

* NAT entries are now done with a little wizard, very easy!

* DynDNS/No-IP support!

* The speed of the webinterface is a little slower than the old version.

* And the most important of all: The modem is even faster than before! On my 4096mbit/512kbit ADSL connection, the downloadspeed is a steady 431kBps/52kBps! That's even faster than the old version, which was somewhere aroung 410/48!

actually I'm looking for a bloody firmware on the 6520 series that does work with turning off router, putting on dmz and freaking nat port mapping. i've lent out all my 5200 series modem with the custom firmware that can be set to ppoe bridge mode. but now this family I'm seetin up is suffering on their connection cuz of this poor modem. Thats the 3rd replacement one they've gotten.

Maybe I need to install the drivers? I did not install them, because my ISP give me that modem and windows detect iy automatically?? Anybosy have a link for the driver download?

Whats your IP address? You won't be able to get to the admin screen unless you're on the same subnet as the modem.

I tried this, but did not work&nbsp:no:o:

Go to Control Panel-> Network Connections->right click on the Local Area Connection->Status->Support there you will see your ip,subnet mask and the Default gateway address: eg 192.168.1.1 that would be your router address:):)

Go to Control Panel-> Network Connections->right click on the Local Area Connection->Status->Properties->Internet Prototcol(TCP/IP)->Properties.

If your PC is set to "Obtain an IP address automatically", select Specify an IP address and enter the following values: IP:10.0.0.140 Subnet mask:255.255.255.0 Default Gateway:10.0.0.138 :)

Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA. The result, according to Microsoft, is the closest thing to a purpose-built AI supercomputer that any company has ever placed in commercial operation. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319205/20260627/microsoft-opens-fairwater-wisconsin-ai-campus-runs-one-supercomputer-via-800g-ethernet.htm
