viewtek Posted July 24, 2005 Share Posted July 24, 2005 hi all, I have a problem with my network at the moment, i have a laptop with xp home and desktop with xp pro both machines see each other fine and share al files except access to my documents. How can i access my documents over the network? Also i want to put a password on my laptop at the login screen, how can i do this without limiting access when im on my home network? OPaul Posted July 24, 2005 Share Posted July 24, 2005 Try using the admin shares if your My Documents are on the Pro machine (no admin shares in Home). \\computer_name\C$\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\My Documents Turn off AutoLogin in TweakUI.
