Ditto
I wonder if its just me. I think I am beginning to see a video driver problem with this build that seems to be the root of most problems ppl are having. Could be just my imagination but its looking that way to me. Ditto
I have two SATA drives and 1 IDE drive, all off them are NTFS 586287682[/snapback] Under XP go to Control Panel and open Administrative tools. from there open Computer management and from there open disk management right click on the disk or partition you want to use for vista and choose format and use the quick option as well as NTFS from the drop down. Once this is done launch the install from either the DVD or a mounted image and choose that partition for install. AgEnTsMiTh
OK I need a little help here. Trying to install it on my laptop. I have 1 80 gig HDD split into 2 partions. 1 for XP the other for the beta 1. Both are NTFS. When I boot from the DVD, I get the windows loading screen, then it goes to the Longhorn screen then it just stops I let it sit for 15 min thinking its doing something but its not, it just stops the progress bar freezes. When I load the DVD while in XP, I go thru the setup, choose the partition to install, everything is fine, when it reboots, I freeze again at the same point on the longhorn loading screen. My laptop is a P4 2.8, 1 gig ddr 400, 80gig HDD, ATI 9600 Mobility 128mb, Intel Pro wireless 2200. I should have no issue doing a dual boot but, I can't for the life of me figure out what the deal is. Any input?
