Steffan Posted July 28, 2005 Share Posted July 28, 2005 Red Sox pitcher Matt Clement was sent to hospital yesterday after a line drive hit in the 3rd inning. The hitter was Devil Rays' Carl Crawford. The ball struck Clement on the right side of his head, just behind his head. 24 hours later, he was release from the hospital.
