The Montreal Canadian hockey team will not renew Patrice Brisebois' contract.

WHY ? WHY?>:((

Look at his stats, he's not such a kind of player we can afford to lose.

WeNEED> to keep Jos? Th?odore and Richard Zednick HERE!

Altough, we heard something cool for us :

MONTREAL ? Canadiens GM Bob Gainey announced Thursday the signings of prospects Jimmy Bonneau and Maxim Lapierre to three year contracts. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Too bad Crosby is heading Pistburg. Atleast I had a good time when I was able to see him every winter week.

If you let me, I would suggest some great stories about MTL Canadians;

I'm glad that idiot is finally out of Montreal. Im sick of his bitching and complaining every damn season. Point is, the guy SUCKS, he should never have been on the first D line, nor does he deserve the millions he milked out of Montreal. After 14 years in the NHL and one stanley cup, the guy didnt even learn how to skate backwards, get rid of opposing players from infront of the net, take low shots from the point or even hit properly. He was about as useful as a midget playing in net. Good riddance if u ask me. I could never figure out why he was on our first line, i would give him some praise as a 3rd line Dman. I guess u never heard all the fans booing him at every home game where he touched the puck. Brisbois SUCKS!! stay away form Montreal or retire!

'

i need an asprine

I bet people prefer strangers, like Russian and all those Eurpoan guys,...

-they don't speak french and we do in MTL

-if they are not here for the money like Brisebois, why don't they play in their local teams?

All spectators boo a player when he sucks, but as soon as he gets better, they forget and cheers him back,...

That's just a matter of opinion,...

Right, like Ryder perhaps?!

What do you mean about 'those European guys'?

You're starting to sound like Don Cherry!

if only he had been paid what he was worth for, he's a good guy a great hockey player and he loved the Montreal Canadiens ( and btw, that's what we do not have currently ... hm ... Maybe Steve B?gin is another guy like him ... but this guy is just too crazy lol ) He was just too much paid ... for what he could offer on the ice ... that's a shame ... I do hope he'll come back but with a lower salary ... but that just won't happen

no, i prefer quality hockey players, i dont give a rats ass what language they speak. They could be from Iraq for all i care, as long as they can put the puck in the net. Since when is montreal french? last time i took a step outside of my house we had people from all cultures speaking all kinds of languages. How the hell this became an english/french debate is beyond me. Maybe its because i don't like Brisbois? Our best players are non-french speaking... Koivu, Zednik, Ryder, Souray, Markov, Bonk etc. In fact, 5 of the top 6 point getters in 2004 were non Quebecers.. so i dunno what you're trying to get at. This isnt 1960 anymore, we don't have the pick of the litter from the QC Junior Leagues anymore like we used to.

All spectators boo a bad play, but obviously you never heard when they boo'ed 'breezer' for years. He even admitted recently on TV that he couldnt handle all the pressure from the fans. Why? because he's a lousy d-man and shouldnt be anywhere near the top line. Maybe you also forgot a few years back when he ditched the team to go on vacation to Paris? what a team player!

And Zednik signed a contract last year for 3yrs so we don't have to worry about him going anywhere.

Dude, it's Canadiens... of all people I'm sure you'd want to get that right.

Dude, I really like your post. Thanks, it makes me think.

Anyway, where I was getting at with french it's that, if you go outside the island of MTL, like south shore, north qc and such, fans would love to hear their favorite hockey player speaks a language they fully understand, French. I'm not saying they should only speak french tho. I'm sure kids whose take them almost as god would appreciate. Just like english speaking kids appreciate.

Pressure IS something that leads to bad play. I remember when I was pitching in baseball (Midget Double-A), pressure, winning, was the only think I was thinking about, during matches, at home and during practice. To me, pressure made him a lousy D-man as he wasn't in the beginning.

Yeah, I forgot about Paris,... :s

Anyhow, speaking with guys at work they think like you. But then I asked if they would have him back for a lower salary? Some said yes, some said it was time for freshness.

In one thread I was trying to find a way around the bad word filter (like ****). Then I admitted that I didn't read the rule after I joined and got the 1st warning.

Second warning, I made a joke involving black people. And I wondered, what's the difference between making a joke about phicaly or mentally hanciaped people and black people? To me, the answer is NONE. Yet it happen and no one bitch.

But this is off topic.

Fresh Windows 11 preview builds with the redesigned Start menu and Windows Vista flashbacks, the long-anticipated Xbox handheld, Patch Tuesday updates, gaming news, and more. Quick links: Windows 10 and 11 Windows Insider Program Updates are available Gaming news Great deals to check Windows 11 and Windows 10 Here, we talk about everything happening around Microsoft's latest operating system in the Stable channel and preview builds: new features, removed features, controversies, bugs, interesting findings, and more. And, of course, you may find a word or two about older versions. June 2025 Patch Tuesday updates are out. Windows 10 received KB5060533 with build numbers 19044.5965 and 19045.5965. Supported Windows 11 versions received KB5060842 and KB5060999 with build numbers 26100.4349, 22631.5472, and 22621.5472. Later, Microsoft released an out-of-band update to address problems with games with Easy Anti-Cheat, causing system restarts upon launch, and a couple of recovery updates. Microsoft launched Copilot Vision with Highlights for Windows. This feature enables AI to see what is happening on the screen and offer additional information, analysis, and context. Copilot Vision currently works with up to two apps, but its availability is limited to the United States (more countries are on the way, says Microsoft). Now, here is some useful stuff for Windows users: a neat third-party maintenance tool that can run various checks, troubleshooters, and repair utilities; a useful guide about personalizing OneDrive folders with a touch of color, and more. Windows Insider Program Here is what Microsoft released for Windows Insiders this week: Builds Canary Channel Dev Channel Build 26200.5641 This build introduces the recently announced Start menu redesign. Build 19045.6029 This build introduces improvements to app defaults and multiple fixes for Windows 10. The redesigned Start menu is the most exciting part of the new builds, but as usual, it is rolling out gradually. You can mitigate that by force-enabling the new Start menu using the ViVeTool app as described in our guide. Interestingly, the latest builds introduced a funny bug where Windows 11 plays the Windows Vista startup sound on boot. Microsoft acknowledged the issue and said it is working on a fix in future updates. Meanwhile, if you use the latest Dev and Beta builds, you will get to enjoy 2006 nostalgia each time you turn on your PC. In addition to the update, Mozilla announced that Deepfake Detector is shutting down. The service will go dark on June 26, 2025. Moving to Office updates, we have some changes to the new Outlook, which will block more files and allow you to perform more tasks when offline. • Yea but you cant forget about Windows 7 featuring most of this design too... it was also there in Win7!
    • I don't blame them, just have a load of people stand in front of the cars, they will not or should not move, that will stuff them.
    • Yeah, that would work. I have no problem with the way macOS looks like now, I don't see the point of them changing the look all the time, and that is the same with windows. I realise look have to change sometimes, but macOS is fine as it is, look wise.
