BUGS!!! LMAO!!!! These are potholes! Its easy the uninstaller does not uninstall the entire program and plus you cannot without the service pack back up file in the windows folder metion in the previous replies on page 2 to 3. Second the actual decreases the performace by 25%+ by using up alot of resource. Finally the login/logoff screens show up white emply boxes as well.

If you don't wanna use it, then don't use it but pleas don't tell **** like this!

The uninstaller should rebuild the the dll's with the ".backup" files. And replacer make from every file which should be replaced a backup! If some person mean they've to delete those files it's not our problem mabe you should read the readme!:

"THE AUTHOR SHOULD NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,

COSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY

TO USE THE SOFTWARE EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY

OF SUCH DAMAGES OR CLAIMS.THE USER OF THIS SOFTWARE BEARS ALL RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS SOFTWARE."

there should be a warning placed for this download, obviously it wasnt fully tested. i wasnt able to fully uninstall either.

Tested or not, you should always take precautions when installing this type of thing. The most obvious one is to create a system restore point before installing. Does the installer create a system restore point itself? If it does, then just use that. If it doesn't, then the creators should add that in to the installer.

This thing is a piece of sh*t. To the ones who made it you obviously didn't test it on many computers. By "many computers" did you mean the same 2 over and over since you have to format your computer or use system restore just to uninstall or get rid of it?

This new one better uninstall it from my system because I'm going to be ****ed if I have to format my computer because I ran system restore and THAT didn't even get rid of it. You people need to learn how to make programs that actually work.

Besides the 2 who said they made it I've only seen one other post where someone said it worked fine.

One other thing...just becuase it was downloaded 200 times doesn't mean it worked for 200 people. I'm sure 200 people messaged you afterwards saying it worked, yeah right

worked fine here mate I even customized it :)

Well here's 1 reason why it doesn't uninstall. If any of you dual boot like me. Windows 98 on my C: drive and XP on my D: drive. The "uninstaller" looks for "runme.bat" on drive C: (c:\windows\system32\runme.bat) where it should be looking at d:\windows\system32\runme.bat.

Now I have to format just to get this PURE CRAP off my computer. Worthless software. I should've waited for future postings on what people thought about it before downloading it.

By the way...I've downloaded the new one which seems a lot like the original just renamed.

This isn't anywhere near stable or anything to have been released and has no reason to be on the net. Who knows how many people have formatted there computers over this thing.

Hopefully some other program fixes all my default icons and login screens to save me from formatting.

YOU NEED TO TAKE IT OFF THE NET BEFORE OTHER SYSTEMS ARE SCREWED

    • I have not verified if any of the fixes mentioned on the below article actually work. Why Claude Code Eats All Your RAM (And How to Fix It) There are at least four separate things that can eat your RAM, and only one of them is your fault. The Four Culprits 1. Bloated Session Logs (The Silent Killer). For 2-4 and more inluding the suggested fixes, see link https://marceloretana.com/blog...aude-code-eats-all-your-ram
    • One of my PC's is Windows 11 Home Edition... and guess what? it supports Hyper-V Disks and Containers, as well as WSL2... which these desktop tools leverage on an as-needed basis. It does not need to be enabled system-wide; it merely needs to exist. Furthermore, I tried something yesterday with Hermes Desktop and their "installer" actually builds everything from source as part of its installer toolchain! The installer (and updater as it were) both go through a roughly 19-step process to prep the system for the tool to be used -- and connectivity to local/remote models, local/remote agent configs, and other steps are not included as part of this process (those are all user config steps post-install). ALSO, the "bug wasn't confirmed to exist" is the weakest argument against a bug. That's literally every flawed product's knee-jerk reaction! Even politicians, lawmakers, murderers, and other violent criminals start with that defense... "I deny everything I'm accused of." The bug is the (shared) experience. Whether it's truly Claude Code's fault, or user error, or some other software package being the ultimate culprit, is not the point. They are experiencing unpleasant side effects and don't like that.
    • Each generaton has its exciting times and I was fortunate enough to be right there at the beginning of the PC industry.   I don't think any of us at that time realized how large it would become I still remember working on a TRS-80 with a green screen monitor that kept overheating and dying.     Also used some TRS-80 PCs with tape cartridge memory.   They worked but boy were they slow with everything being a very slow sequential read or write.  But heh, they worked though it wasn't long before they were repaced by the HDD.
    • One Drive should be a four letter word. First thing I disable on my computer. If I want to upload something to the cloud, I use a cloud base storage, NOT microsoft. Oh but what about backup. I have done backups since floppy disk eras...it just comes naturally.
    • It does just not OneCloud. 🤷🏻‍♂️
