SadJoker
A message to all: No offense to either JoeJoe or MasterHack but I do not reommend using this software! Until MasterHack can get the Uninstaller to actually work, there's a chance you're going to screw up your computer big time, and System Restore won't even work! This should be labeled as a Beta until all the bugs can be ironed out.
Felinix_Devotion
How about labelled as buggered? Just run it on my laptop and it messed up the icons some changed some don't total waste of time, good job the laptop is a ****heap to begin with ! nightRider
the icons are ready and 128x128 :D . the update should provide a uninstaller and some other stuff...but the uninstaller may doesn't work  and its not seperate. 586332376 I was referring about the pngs posted by laptop. This pack work for me without a problem , IT IS your fault when you choose to apply such packs and you know what are the risks when you replace system files ( You always back up , right ? ) That being said , Thanks Masterhack and JoeJoe :). 586332519 for the people who are having problem... tough luck, this works brilliant for me and over 200 other users... ever thought your system doesnt like you!! ;) ;) 586332735 I second that, for both of you. If you dont want windows vista icons, dont even think about installing this. First of all this software should be labeled as BETA! Before the fixes this software did not work properly. Now i am not going to try the most updated version beause of the lovely experience that i had with the first. Now yes, people should never disable the system restore to try to sheer very minor performance gain. But the uninstallor would not uninstall the software that was in placed with this sofware. The biggest issue is that it does not create a backup in the (hidden) servicepack files. For the people that disabled there system restore, all i can say have fun!!!! :p And again this should have been tested before putting it out there. I am not saying just run and call it good. 586333011 I think that the only problem it has is the uninstaller. Everything else works perfectly. If you are using iconpackager, you have to reapply the original icon set to change it to the new icons. For some reason, the original icons still appear in most places if you dont. NightmarE D
Hey buddy, enough with the flaming and ranting. I installed this thing without any problems, I don't feel that my performance is any worse. You need to get off the "net" before your screwed. Don't blame the uninstaller, because you have an unsual setup on your computer. Many people dual boot thier computers. There's nothing unusal about that and I said they should take it off the NET before it screws other systems up. So don't tell me to get off the NET before I get screwed. Grow the f*ck up before you run your mouth. Incase you're a little slow "MYSTICALONE" NET is short for INTERNET since you found the need to quote it like you've never seen the term used before. Should I write it down for you and frame it and hang it above your little crib so the little baby can see it every night? For the person who said "never turn off system restore". Did you not notice that people, like me and a few others here, who had it on and did a restore point before installing it, did a system restore only to find it still on the computer??????? I have every single Windows XP update installed and that has nothing to do with it.

martin10018
Nowhere near the quality of the BricoPacks. These are language und version independant and they always work...
Nico Lazaro
I'm not crying and I don't have anything unusual about my setup, in fact, nothing else is even modded except my uxtheme.dll and I have kept everything up to date (I check for updates at least every hour that I'm on the computer). I'm just angry that someone would make such a package where the uninstaller doesn't work on my computer when I've never had a problem with an uninstaller for anything else (Except Styler which left behind the program folder) So I'm just asking for a better uninstaller so that people don't have to go to extremem measures if they don't like the package on their computer. Mike_Wilson
Am I correct in saying that this pack just replaces files with hacked ones, if this is the case, this can cause problems since every version of windows has different hotfixes and updates installed aswell as different languages. The files should be universally patched and not replaced.

Mike_Wilson
You need to rebuild your icon cache. Download TweakUI , install it, load it, select Repair at bottom and Rebuild Icon Cache. Icons should display correctly.
azz0r_wugg
Ah thank you! How about getting the my computer icon to change? Im sure this has probably been answered but its a 10 page thread to search through.
Mike_Wilson
The my computer icon should change if the explorer.exe has being patched. If this is not working then it could be a problem with the pack. To test if it is the cache or the pack you can boot into safe mode and if the icon has not changed still then your explorer.exe has not being patched. Vquattro
jojoey, great job on this customization pack. Worked like a charm. For the individuals who are having trouble installing this pack, try installing it in safe mode. Also you may also want to disable Windows File Protection. jojoey is it possible to update the open folder icon in shell32 it seems a bit choppy. Keep up the good work.
