Hey buddy, enough with the flaming and ranting. I installed this thing without any problems, I don't feel that my performance is any worse. You need to get off the "net" before your screwed. Don't blame the uninstaller, because you have an unsual setup on your computer.

MY GOD! Im back to normal windows at last, I used a Windows XP live CD.

I have windows restore also off, because it has a performance hit.

I manually restored all *.backup files myself, in the BartPE enviroment.

But this is the last time i trust someone that says it has been fully tested, because a few pc's got screwed up bad.

The uninstaller doesnt work flawless.

For the ones that are still screwed can try to make their own live cd

http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ and have an explorer like totalcommander installed to rename all the *.backup files to their originals.

Ok, i have just installed this and ran the update. It's great.

Oops!!! i made a mistake... let me correct myself," i will not use this software again" (damn, i must be tired!)

Anyways...... nightRider yes when i installed this (which i will not do again) my system performance went down alot. System restore is your friend!!!!

That's strange.... my comp actually became faster for some reason... before, when i put my comp to hibernate, it usually takes about 20 seconds before it actually begins to do so but now, it starts right after i hit hibernate on the menu...

Mades some PNG's for other folders... someone tell me the best way to make them into icons?

Those are great. can you make all of those the same size? preferrable the largest size you have of the three.

First of all this software should be labeled as BETA! Before the fixes this software did not work properly. Now i am not going to try the most updated version beause of the lovely experience that i had with the first. Now yes, people should never disable the system restore to try to sheer very minor performance gain. But the uninstallor would not uninstall the software that was in placed with this sofware. The biggest issue is that it does not create a backup in the (hidden) servicepack files. For the people that disabled there system restore, all i can say have fun!!!! :p And again this should have been tested before putting it out there. I am not saying just run and call it good.

If my limited experience of this pack is anything to go by, the uninstaller is completely useless unless you're completely up to date with windows update and you've made no system changes yourself. With that in mind, use at will, but if someone wants a better toolbar replacement, from vista itself pm me.

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
