no chance in hell the Skyline could compete with the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. If you pick up this months Road & Track you will see that the Saleen S7 beat out an Indy/Champ car a Daytona Car and a Trans-Am car... prettydamn good if u ask me. Besides the fact that the Saleen is probably the sexiest thing on wheels, its also super light, aerodynamic, FAST and has a top speed of 206mph (in a 1 mile run) according to Road & Track... Saleen says its able to reach 235mph. The skyline, though looks good and has a lot of power, is absolutely un-aerodynamic.

Well, without the specs of each car, I'm going to guess just randomly and say the R34 is faster.

It's not everday you see a Skyline.. :)

i actually saw a Skyline R-32 on Monday and i've seen one other skyline in my life. I'm pretty sure the odds of seeing a skyline or a Saleen S7 are just about equal. Theyre both rare, one due to its price, the other due to the fact its not available in this continent.

R34 500 BHP, around 400 lb ft torque

Saleen 700BHP

Weight... engine specs?

Torque curves?

I'll need all of the things like that before I can decide.

You can have a 200 HP / 200 lbs/tq car vs a 150 HP / 150 lbs tq one and have the less powerful one win due to weight.

Ruins handling? You gotta be kidding me...

If you're talking about stock for stock on quarter miles, obviously the Z-tune is no match for the Saleen. On track, it depends a lot on the driver as well, either could win. Potential wise, the Z-tune can be pushed further than the specs say, as long as you have the money.

Nope, I'm not saying that at all, I said either could win.

EDIT: For the price you'd pay for a Saleen, you'd obviously expect a lot out of it. I'm not saying the Saleen can't handle, but here we're comparing a supercar to a sports car (stock for stock), so obviously the Saleen will most likely dominate.

    • Still hate Windows 11, I stuck it on my gaming machine again just for a nose to see what they had done, still as bad. Will restore Windows 10 back on it, suit MS anyway, they don't want me to run Windows 11 on it.
    • Ms did go with the you must sign into an account thing with Windows 8 for a while. The same sort of thing they are doing with Windows now and the MS account.
    • Hello, What sort of Microsoft Authenticator account login approval requests are you getting?  It is a generic authentication app and can be used with all sorts of services (Microsoft Account, Google Account, websites and services that support multi-factor authentication, etc.). • Windows 8? Nah. I found Window 8 worked well, get a third party start menu to get rid of the start screen, I used Start is back and windows 8 was pretty good. I used it even when Windows 10 came out as I found Windows 10 was iffy on my machine at the time was AMD FX Bulldozer based. It was only when I updated the innards to Ryzen that I had no choice but to go to Windows 10 as MS made it difficult to stay with Windows 8. ME, yes, that was not great, I liked the look of it, but it was not stable, shame really because Windows 98SE was the best of the dos based Windows.
