hmm

i did what creamhackered did, restarted my pc, and it worked.. went to reinstall messenger plus and its screwed again... :o

edit 1 lol, uninstalled plus and its fine

edit 2 reinstalled plus and its fine :unsure:

edit 2 changed some plus settings restarted msn and its .. broken...

I don't think anything has even changed from 7.5.0244 to 7.5.0299, so I'm expecting an update soon, lol.

As there are a bunch of little things that need to be fixed.

And people always say "It's a beta, of course it has bugs.", lol, and now it's final, and nothing's been fixed.

God, I'm having a problem where my chat wiondows come up with nothing (and just now the main one), you can drag them around the screen but it shows whats behind them, as screeny shows. This build sucks. The only build I have had a problem with. Anybody know what to do?

Hmm.. that's weird. Try the old uninstall and re-install?

Several times, I even tried with and without a-patch. It was working fine for a while (but couldn't get the custon games from mess.be to work), so I restored the original exe and then it started.

Ugly problem :s

Try checking that no other programs like ad-blockers or spyware scanners and the like are blocking it. I had the same problem with 7.5.0244 beta. AdMuncher was keeping it from working.

I had the same problem I went into my firewall and msn messenger was set for automatic I deleted it out of my firewall programs and it worked just fine

Don't worry about my problem, I fixed it. I updated my GFX card drivers (80.40's > 77.11) and removed those 2 registry trees, and restarted and installed again + patched. All working fine now.

      Not such a great deal, Ultimate, which gives you full 5080 features is $181.99 CAD per month, that's $2183.88 per year, I can buy the 5080 for $1809.99 CAD, then it goes up to $279.99 per month after the first billing cycle. Typical cloud rental, costs more than buying the hardware.

      Get used to this, with AI tooling now uncovering new vulns and getting them exploitable far faster than has ever been possible before software is going to need to be updated far more frequently. Back in the day it may take reseachers weeks or months to do what AI can now do in hours. Once its a threat is discovered it's weaponsized far more quickly, meaning you simply can't be waiting 2, 3, 4 weeks to deploy a patch, it needs to be patched immediately. Going to be interesting handling this in the enterprise space where traditionally patching has been steady, but very staged (and rightly so up until now), that is going to have to change.

      You don't need to "close all browser sessions constantly" or wait for updates to install. The updates download in the background while you use the browser, without interrupting you, they install automatically the next time you launch the app. And they install very fast (depending on your storage speeds, of course), you have to wait at most 2-3 extra seconds, if any. Seems like you haven't used Edge in a loooooooong time...
