Avoid GameKeyStore.com!

Can't believe anyone bought into this.  The keys were STOLEN if not just generated by a Keygen.

Use your heads.  What company ever just let CDkeys be sold without the entire software package?  NONE!!!!

PT Barnum had it right... A sucker born every minute.

thats absolutly true

i knew from day one this was a scam, and it finally is falling apart

good

so does anyone know when he's supposed to come back or what happened here? i just ran a search to find the store that sells these keys cause i want one for CS:S and apparently there is a lot of crap going on. maybe its better to just buy it in the box at the store.

i have purchased a few times from him and hes pretty nice about stuff. i had a problem one time with a WCIII key from him, but when i questioned him about it, he sent me another key... no questions asked.

so just email him about your problem and its very likely you will get another one. it still sucks that you lost all your work on your characters though.

Boy, what a nice thread to come home to :p

I don't have time to start up the website quite yet, I will probably do that when F.E.A.R. comes out or another big game like HL2 Aftermath as I don't have time to run the site now, but as I just got home tonite and it's getting really late and I just saw this thread I will let you know what happened.

The problem with Guild Wars is I had "most" of the recent purchases from a supplier where I recieved new unused CD Keys in which the customer could make their own accounts. Before that I was getting used accounts from people who no longer wanted them and sold them off to another guy who I got them from. Now, this was clearly stated in the item description that you were buying a premade account so there was no issue there. What happened was I had no way of monitoring the past owners or where these accounts came from, and although they worked when I recieved them, while I was away for 3 weeks (Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana for those who are curious), the accounts slowly got cancelled by NCSoft because they were fraudulentely purchased, or at least charged back, to the credit card holder. The only thing I can do now is refund those who were effected (a handful of people), and make an announcement about it in the next day or two when I had time (as it is 2:30AM here already). That way the refunds can be promptly sent out.

Hopefully this makes sense and everyone understands what has happened. Only several people had this happen to them, and they are quite upset as they have a right to be and as I am too about this happening, but I have been selling the actual CD Keys which work 100% fine for much longer and have sold most of the Guild Wars through that means.

I will post in the coming day or two as I get settled back at home. Thanks for the patience and feel free to post any questions or concerns. I will be updating the GKS Forums also in the coming days.

What happened to going to a store and actually buying the game? And if you need second serial key, you could always order one straight from the developers as it's quite obvious that multiplayer games provide such services. Surely it would be say 10 bucks more or whatever, but you would rather be paying more and be sure of your purchase than paying less and somehow ending up in **** like this with loss of money and the actual purchase.

I unno... I've seen the reputation of this guy, and I would not hestitate to buy anything from him. I've seen people from various different forums praise GKS for its reliability....

No, I don't get paid for saying that, but don't jump on GKS' back until you hear their side of the story, or until they dealt with your problems/loss... then complain.

To be honest there is hardly ever an issue. The only times we have had issues would be when there was high volume of sales with BF2 and hardly any stock and people had to wait for a week once (although after that it never went over a few days wait). But there have been 700 happy sales of BF2 and no problems have arose from that. Before that there had been several hundred orders from April until June when BF2 came out and rarely an issue. After BF2 and into Summer '05 and into August while I was away, the other problem was the GW, with probably 3-4 accounts that had issues and more around 30 sold overall.

Now when the next big game comes out, expect GKS to be again re-opened well beforehand and some changes to occur. Right now things are just too "dead" to have the website open as it would take still a bunch of time to organize things and check up everyday, so I rather keep it closed so I can have a rest. If you want to be updated on the re-opening of GKS (which will be probably when F.E.A.R. or HL2 Aftermath is out, whichever is first I haven't been keeping up, so in October sometime I am assuming), just e-mail me at [email protected] with "Updates List" in the subject line and your e-mail in the body and I will get back to you when we do re-open. Forums are always updated when new news arrives ;)

This service is still BS....

See how he gets caught with 'fraudulent' keys and tries to explain it away convincingly?

Kind of curious that while there are plenty of links to retail stores and websites on the publishers/developers sites for their games, there are no links to his site. Why not?

Yes, out of the hundreds and hundreds of people who are happily playing games legally, a few are bad and his buisness is BS?

Yeah, right.

    • New Outlook for Windows and Web is getting a simple but very useful email feature by Sayan Sen Recently Microsoft put up a blog post highlighting not one, not two, but 15 total reasons why it feels you should switch to New Outlook already. If that was not enough, the company is bringing another new feature soon that could finally compel you to switch over to the new app. According to a recent update on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the tech giant is making changes to how message sorting works when users choose criteria besides the traditional options of From, Subject, or Date Received. The idea is to provide better options for the attribute being used for sorting and make it easier to understand why messages appear in a particular order. For those unfamiliar Outlook already allows users to sort emails using a variety of fields including sender, category, importance, subject, and message size. Users can access these options through the Filter menu in Outlook for Windows and Outlook on the web. With the upcoming change, whenever users sort by a field other than From, Subject, or Date Received, Outlook will automatically display an additional column showing the value being used for the sort. For example, if messages are sorted by Size, a Size column will appear in the message list, allowing users to immediately see the data that determines the ordering of emails. Microsoft believes this should make sorting behavior simpler and reduce the need to manually adjust views or inspect individual messages. Support for sorting by Flag Due Date is also coming and should be especially be helpful for users who rely on email flags to manage follow-up tasks and deadlines. The feature is listed under Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 564803 and is expected to reach general availability beginning later this month itself (June 2026). You can find the entry here. As always though, users should keep in mind that roadmap timelines can change and rollout schedules may occasionally be adjusted by Microsoft. Outlook for Web is also set to receive this feature.
    • That is true. but the liability side of my balance sheet is clean and has been for decades.  Nobody comes a knocking,  calling or writing harassing me for the money i owe them.😎👍  Haven't dealt with "a money changer" in decades and like Jesus it was in Jerusalem.  Don't have much money, but have even less stress in my life.👍👍     P.S.  Sorry, can't walk on water or change it to wine,
    • Maybe ? DLSS Swapper (can swap the DLSS/FSR/XeSS versions) as long as the game (typically online/competitive) doesn't checks for file tampering. You can try different version(s) or update if not the current version of the FSR. https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper
