no crashing for me, but unfortunatly winamp doesnt like to ouput 5.1 via spdif passthrough, so no 5.1 aac sample and no 5.1 radio :/

Yes you do, at least all 5.x releases anyway. Your v5 pro key will work on all 5.x releases, just install new releases over your old one and it will continue to be unlocked for pro.

Winamp 5.1 easter eggs ! (from Winamp forums) :

i just noticed a very small thing (i think an easter egg): when you Alt -ctrl + double click on the lama in the about box, you get the liscence plate of 5.09.

but when you Shift + double click on the lama in the about box, you get: cracked by r0n

I can only find 2 versions on the site and thats free and pro.

Pro asks for a reg key on install, otherwise it's the same as full.

But if you choose free on the site you'll get to the download links for lite, full and bundle, see?

mine was crashing on the 5.1 sample as well (external 5.1 decoder) - windows 2000 sp4 without the .net framework... at one point it reported looking for msvcr71.dll - put that in %systemroot%\system32, logged off and on and all ok here on in.

hopefully that helps somebody...
