No More Kerio Personal Firewall

I swear by Kerio PF been using it for 2 years now... not a single glitch, ive tried everything but the CPU usage footprint of kerio is soo small it feels like there isnt even anything running its like a phantom guardian :D... anyways lets see, can anyone come up with alternatives that are almost or as good as Kerio

I guess Outpost is the only choice for a free firewall.

There is no free Outpost tho. Not that I can find really. I downloaded the free one off their site and the minute I installed it I got a update prompt telling me how out of date it was, then it installed the new version and started me on a 30 day trial. Doesn't seem all that free to me.

I still use their old 2.1.5 version of firewall

even if it's like 3 years old!

the 2.1.5 version is the best firewall ever made imo

finally, I dont care if they stop doing the firewall since the version im using

has been discontinued for quite some time now

i use 4.2 and it's running nearly flawlessly ... all i have is some glitch when it sometime asks for connection from application which already have rules ... i'm unsure what trigger that event but it happens like once or twice / week so it's not so tragic ... for anything else it works flawless ... that includes that "UT2004' bug as it's fixed already :)

I'm using KPF and I'm saddend that they're going to discontinue making it. It's something I don't feel real happy about that. But still Snapfiles gives a small but decent list of other free firewalls out their to use Snap files list of free firewalls
