BroChaos Veteran Posted September 5, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 5, 2005 i don't think he's cocky, but he's good, and he knows it. if nobody can beat you, you're going to have an attitude of confidence, and thats what he has. his match against fabrice santoro was one of the best matches i've seen in the past couple years. Andre
Wow.. so he has problems in the second set. Big deal! Media always wants to blow things out of proportion.
bigbluepride35
ESPN corrected themselves: "Hewitt needs five to beat Dent, Federer rolls" lol. Yeah pretty nuts when a straight set victory is a "struggle". If that's him struggling well then when he's in top form he's NEVER getting beaten. Powa
Federer is amazing. Yes, he always struggles in the first rounds of any competition. But, as it progresses he ups his game and gets the streak of form that takes him to the final, and more often than not, a win. I love the way he plays, he can pull off any kind of shot so he doesn't have to rely on the back-hand, big serve etc.
Dallas
Federer is one of the best ever. I hardly think winning is strait sets is struggling.
