not to be rude or anything, well actually i don't care if i am, but these are they types of threads that really get the neowin bandwidth going up. obviously you have a website. why do you find the need to attatch the files here?

and as for screenshots and updates of things why attatch everything here? it's only useful to post so many unfinished screenies of a trillian skin. i mean for some bugs and things yeah, post them as an attatchment.

please use common sense everyone. if you have your own website use it. because if this keeps up and bandwidth usage keeps skyrocketing who knows how long neowin will be here.

if need be send me the file for the vs and i'll host it. and i don't even like or use the vs...

Umm.. yes that was pretty rude, as far as i know im not breaking any neowin rules i dont intend to change anything, i don't see you complaining in anyone elses thread. I keep my attachements within file limits so what exactly is the problem?

I don't believe u hold mod status on neowin Stevofc so until someone who does tells me different i shall continue to post within the rules. Bandwidth is EXTREMELY inexpensive thesedays and i assume if neowin was in any trouble paying the bills they would make adjustments in the way they do business. Dont try to tell me my one thread is gonna put Neowin anywhere near being in the red. Frankly that was one of the most blatently obvious attempts at a flame ive ever seen.

If you don't like or use the VS...just go away, i don't need you to host anything for me. :) Thanks.

Dude, everyone knows every theme i post u have something derogatory to say about it. THATS why i say that.

Yes, i have my own site which i also have bandwidth issues with already. So no, im not going to use it for attaching files that are perfectly within the rules here on Neowin to post. I have three kids to feed and my money will ALWAYS go there first.

The themes i sell on my site.. i host on my site.. Ive spent six weeks on this project, it is freely available to neowin members, i hardly see as its much to ask for Neowin to host it FOR its members.

As far as im concerned, my contributions to the site and time invested in making them FAR outweigh any costs Neowin incurs from hosting them.

When i break some rule.. come back and bitch about it, until then please..let the thread be.

Let's get back to your theme and the busines at hand. I have attached a screen shot of what may be a small bug. If you look at the icon in the Active window of the taskbar it appears as if the icon drops below the bottom edge. It appears as if this may need to be a pixel or two wider. On the Inavtive window the icon is sitting right on the edge as it is in the traskbar tray.

I'm not sure if it's a bug because I've ported this VS into WB so it just may be a problem with the conversion.

Here another small problem that could use correcting. The lettering is very hard to read in this instance. It either needs to be darker or changed to white. This is true of the mouse over color as well.

It's not going to import perfectly, you need a little knowledge of Skin Studio to fix those little things

I know how to fix it if it needs fixing. What I wasn't sure of was whether or not it was an actual bug or if it was Skinstudio. If someone who has it loaded as a VS can look at it and the same problem is there then it's not WB but a slight bug with the VS.

I love the theme... but I have a question

On command line windows, it does not open with the normal titlebar theme. I have noticed that this is the case with other themes as well. Is this a normal behaviour?

Small problem in RC2: the active panel is any file manager is not really ok, that white color ruined everything.?:DD I hope this can be fixed.

Not sure what the problem is there, be more specific in what bug u r pointing out please and always give the name of the application u r using. My File explorer looks ok.

Another thing: a very small part of progress bar is always visible in some aplications. Is this a feature?

Skinstudio as bloodwork said is not going import a VS perfectly, the VS version does not contain that that bug so i assume it something u have done wrong in the conversion process, i CAN tell you that your taskbar fonts are oversized in that screenshot and it is showing something other than the font that the VS was designed to use.. did you install the fonts?

As far as i know no Visual style skins the command line window. There are probably 3rd party apps that do though.

Will work on Maxthon issue this evening, it is at the top of my list.

Will people please be more specific in the bugs they would like resolved, i need the application name , an explanation of error and a screenshot if possible. Thank you.

Ok...

First app is eMule. Some words can't be read at all.

Second is Total Commander. In the active panel (right side) C:\ can't be distinguished, that white color used there is not ok at all.

Third app is ONES, a burning program. This is the problem with the progress bar (it is present although it shouldn't be there - the progress bar bug is also present in other programs). And... some letters are missing too (in this case "d").

thankyou for your promptness, i will look into these issues and try resolve them as time permits. Not sure if i can with progress bar as there is little or no room for flexibility wit the current design but we shall see. If like you can add me on msn and i can probably get them resolved quicker for everyone. My Msn is in my profile.

Both screen shots were WB conversions. Unfortnately, I have no control over how Skinstudio acts when it imports a VS. However, it is evident from your comments that it is part of a conversion problem rather then the VS. Should have know that since you are so precise in your work! :D I do have all Longhorn or Vista fonts installed but again the sizes are what came out of the conversion. I go back and see what adjustments I can make here.

Grab-It bug fixed, as well as the Maxthon bug, from what I understand. I've seen the fixed version as far as Grab-It goes and it looks great, unfortunatly I don't have Maxthon so I can't confirm that. He'll post RC3 later tonight, then Final soon enough. Thanks to vstyler for the quick fixes and dedication.

Button Text bug has been resolved,

Maxthon bug is fixed,

Listview bug is fixed,

Fixed tabs so that right and left ends are rounded on bottom and not cuttoff,

Fixed Kidon's active window text issue, working on progress bar issue now, last one as it stands.

Come on y'all i need more bugs !!!

I challenge you to find a bug in this VS.

Without the yellow flag and a completely transparent background behind the account names and it would be a pretty good representation of the theme.
