I have XP Pro and was wondering I want to install .NET Server but if I don't like it can I go back to XP?

sure y wouldnt u be able to...make sure to do a backup of ur important data tho cause it may want to format

Best way to do this is to create another partition with a partitioning program such as PartitionMagic, install .NET on that partition and do a Duel Boot. If you don't like .NET you can delete the partition and erase it's entries in the boot.ini on your primary partition.

[edit] You cannot upgrade from XP to .NET and uninstall in case that was the question you were asking. ;)

Shoud I do it on my D: drive?

i dunno should you? if thats whatcha got an wanna use it for .NET go ahead. that sounds like enough space for just playing around with a beta OS.

i logined as a guest(because i don't have such a ID for the other acces) to windowsbeta.microsoft.com but i only have acces to the bug-report!!!:disappoin

You cannot get a legit beta unless you have a MS TechNet or MSDN subscription, or you were selected to be a beta tester.
