Nintendo Revolution Controller Revealed

I'm glad that's not the final design. If it was or turns out to be Nintendo will lose me as a customer.

most likely that will look like that final design i doubt when they release the system they're gonna have a completely new design for the controller..

Because pinpoint accuracy and responsevnes that consoles have been lacking since forever is not tech, AMIRITE?

P.S. IAMNOTRITE.

Oh you are definitely right. One of the most demanding games that requires accuracy and pinpoint precison is Killer7. Try playing Killer7 on PS2 or GameCube and your fingers\hands feel like they will fall off, after a few hours, trying to accurately shoot a target on an enemy. The only saving grace for most FPSes on consoles is that there is some sort of auto-aim assistance to help you shoot. Edited by jmole

My point is that the revolution controller will change all that.

Well, the people who have already played a FPS (well it's an adventure game, but still a good demo) with the controller would tend to disagree with you.

The new controller is like sex.  You don't really know what's it's like until you've had it.

Please don't use that analogy   I finally figured why the controller isn't more ergonomic. I think Nintendo is glad people are comparing the controller to a remote and not to a ..... something else. If it was more rounded, a lot of parents would start complaining that Nintendo is selling sex. Hell, I think even Sony would jump in and start the fire.

And in case you are wondering, I'm not kidding.

:x that looks like the most uncomfortable thing to use i've ever seen... why oh why cant they use a mouse + keyboard :p

I thought that. I was bored and gave that a go and I think it will be fine when it comes out ;D

    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
