[NFL] Texans fire offensive coordinator

Recommended Posts

Heard today that the Houston Texans have dumped Chris Palmer as their Offensive Coordinator. Even though I think his play calling is a little suspect, I don't put all the failures of this offense on him. The players have to execute and that starts with the QB. David Carr and the rest of the offense need to think long and hard about their play this bye week. If they were going to do this move, they should have fired him in the offseason and tried to get Norm Chow from USC. Oh well, hopes for this season are pretty much dashed. Hopefully the Astros will keep my focus away from football. :)

Still, promoting Joe Pendry to run the offense? He was fired from Carolina for being too conservative. Like I said, I hope the Astros can hold me over until the Rockets start their season.

Carr as his share to blame. He played an horribly game.

its the line, he has 3 secs at most look at brady he had a bad game too, if the line cant hold the QB cant have a good day. sacked 153(its sad  ) times and 13 times in this year.

didnt Keyshawn just stop playing i dont remember, or somethink like that happen

yes, but a lot of that can be contributed to their lackluster O-line.
