Microsoft Windows Vista broken?

So... there was a problem.... and they fixed it. I see no point.

The only reason Microsoft would have released this to the public would be to show people that they have done something good.

"Microsoft decided to update the software creating process and is now more disciplined in how they crunch code so that there will be fewer bugs in the software and it will be easier to add on features."

The entire article in one semtence.

This article is old news, but worth the read. It's common knowledge that Microsoft tossed out its entire Longhorn code and started off fresh with code based on Windows Server 2003. It's what caused the huge delay in Longhorn.

It sounds like MS is slowly cleaning up their act. Good for them. Better for us.

Ain't it funny how you can take something very neutral, such as a story about MS making some dramatic changes to their nextGen OS, and put whatver spin on it you want.

Surely nobody would add a missleading title to point towards their own agenda...

Oh, maybe I'm wrong then!

From what i could make from it,

Windows Vista will be a total rebuild, and instead of being basically a hack of windows 95, which it has been in the past, I mean XP is great but its basically just a good hack of windows 2000, and the shell has been hacked to death.

The new MS OS system will now all work indecently, this is hard to explain, but basically instead of lots of programs crossing paths, each program will be independent of each other making it less bug ridden,

So my guess is Windows Vista will be very stable, and though it might not bring the most features its technologies will allow for some amazing things.

Oh and also Vista is being designed to be like Lego (Read the story and your understand)

I am not sure thread reporting is to be used for this(can somebody clarify ?), but nevertheless reported for misleading title. Hopefully a mod will make suitable changes.

Surely misleading title, original article is much better
