canadian397
So I opened the Cable box (Shaw) today on the side of my house and saw this (Ya, I'm gonna clean it out one day): Now the way the setup in the box is currently is: Main Cable>Splitter>Family Room Connection/Bedroom Connection So it didn't dawn on me until I was just about asleep, we already have a splitter in the house to a few TVs, using the Family Room Connection and the bedroom connection has never been used cause there's a bed in the way of the connection. So I was wondering, would it be okay to get rid of the splitter, get a male-to-male COAX connector and then just connect the main cable straight to the family room cable? Would that do any harm? Would it improve the signal? - Barret BTW, these cables/splitters/box are from when the house was built, 1988.
