Driving in Rain

Sorry if this is a slight thread steal, but does rain X also work with ice? And if not, what would be good to get rid of ice? It's coming up to winter soon and we spend so long getting ice off the cars in the morning.

I assume rainX would work as with no water on the screen there is no water to turn into ice right?

your saying when its raining hard, the side windows fog up so bad you cant see your outside wing mirror?

or your wing mirror is foggin up?

or your windows are coverd in so much water (no fog) that you cant see out.

please clerify for me

The last one: The windows are covered in so much water (no fog) that you cant see outside. Even if I lower the windows, it doesnt help much, because I still need to see outside the rear windshield.

Also, I wonder why they dont have window mechanisms where if you lower and raise your window, it would act like a wiper or something. All you would need to do is make that plastic seal a little stronger at the bottom and it would just clean the windshield--sounds easy for car manufacturers to do.

ok yeah, i would say rain-x

watch out though, that stuff smears, and then you cant see anything. so read the instructions and apply carefully.

when im racing in the rain (open wheen car, lots of water. like someone 5 feet away shooting a hose in your face) i use rain x on my helmet visor. if i apply in a rush, sometimes i do more damage then good.
