Is Your Son a Computer Hacker?

Recommended Posts

Although it is extremely funny and a total joke per say, I do think when the person posted it they were actually serious.

Why would I even say this?

I took the time to read some of the other posts by thh author at that site, and this person definitely has some issues (read the "My Children Will Not Be Attending College" post), so reading this college post I do believe all of the other posts were definitely very real.

So taking this into account, although we all view it as a joke, which it definitely is to anyone who knows anything, I think back when it was originally posted on Dec 2nd, 2001, the author was indeed serious about it.

It starts off sooooo bad :(

Most American families use trusted and responsible Internet Service Providers, such as AOL.

and just gets worse...

Popular hacker software includes "Comet Cursor", "Bonzi Buddy" and "Flash".

I fear those who take this article seriously (and of course the author, for wiritng it as not a joke).

lol.

I pride myself that I have never had to spank a child, and I hope this guide will help other parents to put a halt to their son's misbehaviour before a spanking becomes necessary.

Ahahah

AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips. They use child labor extensively in their third world sweatshops

Oh sh*t too many quotes............

i am sure it is not a joke for the person who wrote this article...

I sure had fun reading it, since i know who hackers are and what they do (of course they wear pacifiers around their neck :-), but i remmebered a website i run into one time: It was a Christian Movie review - site,a nd EVERY movie was recommended as not to see.. I remember Harry Potter beeing marked as an attempt to interest children into Witchcraft to get them believing into God and so on... Was funny too, but:

It is sad, that there are actually peopel out there who think like this. And even worse: other parents read it, and now some poor kids, not even interested in hacking, are gettign questioned by their parents and the computer time limited to '30 minutes' a day... Sorting out my Spam-Mail and answerign the rest take slonger then 30 Minutes already!

I feel sorry for all the son's out there (yes, the author apparently believes only 'guys' can be hackers, not girls...) who have limited access to their computers because of somebody writing cr*p like this.....

This is even worse.

    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two.
