Sietse, is there are larger wallpaper? I am using 1280x1024 res, so one for that size?

I'm afraid not, the wallpaper was released as promotional material for a game called Midgard. The game was cancelled back in 2001. As you might understand resolutions higher than 1024x768 were not very common back then.

It depends more on your system, like my computer runs atleast 10x smoother without a wallpaper. :(

All my machines run better in classic. As much as I like the eye candy of a nice visual style, there is always a glitch somewhere. That just doesn't happen, to me, when using classic.

Dumb question here....How do you guys install the nice taskbar themes ? Im guessing its the VS: whatever, but when I install it just gives me the same old blue taskbar that comes with windows and not the themed ones. Could someone please explain how to do this.
