RangerLG
Seeing as these are men players, I doubt she made the list. This is tough to say since playing surface is a BIG factor for some of these players. If I was forced to say, I think Borg was a better all around player. He could play the long rally on clay or beat you on the grass. Federer is the closest I have seen to Borg.

BroChaos Veteran Posted October 5, 2005 Veteran Share Posted October 5, 2005 i think it's a tossup between sampras and federer. honestly (and i'm a serious tennis player) i think federer could take sampras...
devBrian
Right now, there really isn't any argument against Federer.
deuz
sampras...no he was good but then no one could work him out but as he aged ppl found his weaknesses and expolited then very easily...which i guess means u cant say federer is the best which is contradictiing my earlier post....but if ur looking over time agassi is prolly the best he been there for a long time and has adpated well

BroChaos Veteran Posted October 5, 2005 Veteran Share Posted October 5, 2005 how did we leave out jimmy connors? if you wanna talk about longevity, he takes the cake even from andre. and he still won 8 majors too.
BigGiantHead
Non-playing: Borg & Sampras, still playing: Agassi and Federer. Resistance was futile against Borg,he assimilated everything in his way. (Sorry, I coudn't resist)
