Yeah. Its extremely rude if you're in the US and you don't tip. Any time a service is offered to me, I always tip a minimum of 10%, even when the service is pretty bad. Generally, if the service is average, I'll tip 15%. And, if the service is exceptional, I'll do 20%.

We tipped the waitress at Hooters about 80%, though

I do, unless someone is really bad at his/her job

Same here. I tip anywhere from 5% to 20% depending on the quality of service.

Some years ago I was a waiter at a restaraunt and got paid $ 2.00 an hour, so what I made in tips was my income for the most part. One year we hosted a party for a constrction company. The boss of this company said what ever his employees wanted to give them. Well by the end of the night they tallied an $1,800 bill. 3 of us worked strictly to cater to this party and the cheap *ss left us a $ 50.00 tip for 3 of us, thats $16.67 a piece for 6 hours of busting our hump to cater to their needs.

Having worked a job where I could actually recieve tips, and seeing how incredibly nice it was to get a little extra money, I normally tip now, and tip generously. But I really don't see where tipping is necessary unless you are treated exceptionally nice by the person you intend to tip, therefore a tip is warrented. Mostly people seem to expect tips too much to the point where, as in waiter/waitress jobs, they are actually paid the minimum wage possible because the people are actually required to leave tips. When it becomes a requirement, it ruins the whole point. May as well stop being stingy and actually pay your employees something more than slave wages.

I work as a bartender on the weekends and from having that job I tip alot more than I used to (from 30 to 50 percent). Also if you frequent somewhere quite often, tip a little and see if the service you get improves. Believe me, the bigger the tipper the better I remember them.

Yep, and im a fairley resonable tipper. Me and a couple of buddys went for breakfast at the mall beside my school. They have family type resturent. The meal came to $28 something and i left a 7.00 dollar tip. I think thats fairley resonable.

    • XBOX is at the end of its generational life cycle and wasn't selling much anyway. They need to figure out the pricing for XBOX Helios. However, I'm not buying the DRAM shortage with AI preferring HBM. I think it's industry gouging.
