hide your plates

Recommended Posts

don't bother, even in the off chance it does work (which is rare) it's VERY easy for them to take it into a program like photoshop and get your plate. They also take 2 or 3 pics in series to catch different angles of the plate.

Oh, and you WILL get fined a LARGE fine if they catch you using it, aka they had to photoshop it

maybe, maybe not..

i'm not doing this to purposly run red lights.. its one of those.. what if i accidentally run one.. or what if some jack ass cuts me off and it happened to take a picture.. its those "what if" situations.. there's many of them..

at the same time, i don't like people taking pictures of my car, for whatever reason.. so no plates show up..

whenever i take pitures.. i don't have to ps it..

just a neat thing to have..

just because someone wants to use this doesn't mean they're going to be running red lights on purpose. this thing also works when random people try to take pictures of your car.

How do you possibly accidentally run a red light? That has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.

Explain this one. Somebody cuts you off (they cut IN FRONT OF YOU), and you need to run the red to avoid it? Brilliant excuse. I'm with rumbleph1sh on this one.
do you ever get nervous when you're approaching an interesection with the camera? even though you know when the light is going to change, you still get nervous..

well.. i've been trying to buy this can for a long time now, but dind't want to spend the $70.. i just didn't see it fit..

but now my uncle got a ticket from one of those cameras and i told him about this spray.. you spray it on your plate and when a picture is taken of your plates it shows up blank.

BUT.. i forgot what its called.. so i can't search for it.

and IT IS LEGAL

so.. if you know.. tell me please.

its hard to explain..

either way, i don't care what you or anyone else says to me about running red lights. my first post was very clear, i needed the name of a product i was looking for and a few posts down, i got what i wanted. my mistake was lowering my self to argue with some of you.

i got what i was looking for.. i don't need anyone's bull****, unless they have different brands they want to offer or other methods of legally blocking your plates. and in this case, the spray is legal.

now leave me alone, if you have nothing to contribute, DON'T POST. go jerk off or something.

License plates are used for indentification, this spray would probably block out the spotlight on a police car. Please explain to me how hiding the only identifier on your car is morally correct and legal. Just take the blame if you run a red light, you won't 'accidently' do it again.

There is no reason to run a red light, therefore there is no reason for this product.

there is...if you aproach the intersection at lets say 60km/h when light changes to yellow and then quickly to red. you wont start breaking will you?

every intersection with a red light camera has a specified amount of time after the light turns yellow that it will start taking pictures, it is never "quickly turning to red" because the lights with red light cameras always take the same amount of time, and it's always longer than most lights.

Another idiot driver. You do realize yellow is warning you to stop if possible. Yellow does not mean speed up. The yellows are timed so that people doing the speed limit will have enough time to stop or clear the intersection before the light turns red. If the light turned red when you were in the intersection it means on of two things.

1) You were speeding and couldn't stop in time.

2) You're too selfish to stop, so you entered the intersection knowing full well that you would not be able to get through before the light changed to red.

If people would be a little bit less selfish and obey the traffic laws, traffic would flow better, and driving would be safer and more enjoyable. Hopefully you never have to have a family member or friend injured or killed because some jackass ran a red light.

    • IBM reveals sub-1nm chip technology, production expected in another 5 years by Pradeep Viswanathan TSMC is now leading the chip manufacturing industry with its 2nm-class process node called N2. Samsung Foundry also has a 2nm-class process node called SF2. TSMC says N2 entered volume production in Q4 2025. Samsung says SF2 started mass production in 2025. Today, IBM announced the world’s first sub-1-nanometer chip technology, marking another major semiconductor research milestone. The new technology is based on a 0.7nm, or 7-angstrom, node and uses a new transistor architecture called “nanostack.” The new design vertically stacks and staggers nanosheet-based transistors so that more components can fit into the same chip area while also improving performance and power efficiency. IBM claims that this new sub-1nm chip can pack nearly 100 billion transistors onto a chip the size of a fingernail. This offers almost twice the density, up to 50 percent higher performance, or 70 percent better energy efficiency when compared to IBM's 2nm node design announced back in 2021. Also, IBM mentioned that this new architecture can deliver 40 percent SRAM scaling. It is important to consider that this announcement from IBM is a research milestone rather than a near-term process node launch. Back in 2021, IBM unveiled the world’s first 2nm chip design, claiming 50 billion transistors on a fingernail-sized chip and major performance and efficiency gains. Five years later, IBM’s 2nm technology has still not entered mainstream commercial production. That is because IBM is no longer a major commercial chip manufacturer. It sold its chip manufacturing business to GlobalFoundries years ago and has since then focused only on semiconductor research, IP development, and partnerships. To productize its 2-nm chip technology, IBM partnered with Japan’s Rapidus, but it has not resulted in anything shipping at scale. IBM says that its new sub-1nm technology can reach production as early as within the next five years. If that happens, it will likely depend on manufacturing partners, advanced EUV tooling, and years of yield improvements.
    • It's funny when thieves accuse other thieves of stealing. Ai companies just blatantly siphoned all the knowledge of the internet without consent and are now selling it with their service... so excuse me if I find this a bit ironic.
