i wouldn't put anything important on those sites hosted there. i don't see it lasting long. and any ones i tried load unbelievably slow anyways.

ok let me rephrase that...anything with more than 2 images loads unbelievably slow.

no one can last very long hosting sites like this on a home pc. once the isp realizes it there won't be any server at all.

Yeh, but I highly doubt that will happen. From what it looks like most people there are using to host small files, videos, etc so it shouldn't be that bad.

I'm on WideOpenWest 4mbit cable. Whatever.

Edit: It loaded in about 2 seconds when I tried again, so the server was probably experiencing some unexpected load/etc. at the time I first tried.

Hell i've even seen Business websites. They're basically gaining revenue off your hosting too.

You never said anything about ad-free websites on the sign up page.

obviously didn't do the math in provisioning as you have to do about 18kB/sec constant for 50GB/mo which is about ~145kbit so he must either be a joke or... have one hell of a connection lol

"cough" Someone should have gotten a static IP "cough" Instead of Dynamic. Or possibly got an actual business ISP instead of using a Home Connection which I'm guessing is what it was.
