Is this the yeti?

yeti.jpg

One of the most popular explanations of the yeti's origins is that it is the giant ape Gigantopithecus, whosefossilised remains have been found in India and China. Examination of the fossils indicates that Gigantopithecus lived between 12 million and 500,000 years ago. Also during this period, the Himalayas were rising by as much as 8,000 to 10,000 feet. Because of this increase in height of the mountians, many species of animals, including the yeti's ancestor, may have become isolated.

Some experts argue that though the yeti's footprints have been discovered above the snowline (a bare terrain that is unable to support a large mammal) its present home is acually lower down in the forested valleys. Here, vegetation is dense, fog is common and there are few human inhabitants to disturb the yeti. But, as a result of seasonal changes, they must sometimes cross the high snow passes to reach nearby valleys - and leave those telltale footprints.

the yeti and bigfoot are the same thing... just in a different place... bigfoot is rumored to live in the nortwest forests of the us, the yeti is in the mountains... the yeti is also known as the abominal snowman, but both are just supposed creatures that are part of evolution....

now i am just gonna sit down and have a nice plate of sasquatch and potatoes for breakfast... if you wil excuse me :p

Yep, Jon is right.

If you believe in surnatural crap like Ghost, you can't deny existance of some weird species that potentially can exist. E.g. there needed just to be some species fork in early time and evolution created two branches from the ape, one human and one 'Yeti'-like.

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
