those of you in the uk have probably been seeing this story develop over the last year or so, but for those of you that havent heard, its quite an interesting story.

It was bad enough when the story first broke and 20 victims or so, i don't remember very well, but now 215 victims, words can't describe the awfullness of that, nor comprehend the mind of someone capable of such an act :(

They also suspect that there could be an additional 45 or so, more people but they dont have enough evidence to support this.

Apparently makes him one of the worlds worst serial killers! Pretty terrifying :(

Consider this... as he was administering the lethal injections the victims / patients (mostly grandmothers) were probably thanking him for making them feel better.

At his worst he was killing 7 or 8 people per month, over a killing spree of 20 or so years. People were actually queueing to be a patient of his because he was deemed to be so kind and caring.

The really frightning thing was the fact that he was probably considered a family man and his neighbors most likely looked up to him because he was a doctor. What kind of a person can do these things. Doctors are supposed to help people not harm them enough to kill them. :mad:

I dont get it. The article didn't say how he "murdered" all these people so I am at loss on how to respond. Were the patients already terminal and he didnt save them? Were they cases of physician assisted suicide? Were they outright murders of non-terminal patients? What?

They were not terminal... he murdered them, in many cases with lethal injections. Most had minor ailments at the very worst. In no way is this a case of assisted suicide / euthanasia... it was multiple murder.

the fact that this man gained the unquestioned trust of his patients is very disturbing and i find it utterly disgraceful that he continuosly denies that he did this when the evidence proves he did

A movie about this would be disguesting. I really hope they never make a movie like that..It would seriously make me phisicaly ill, Hannible almost did with the brain scene, I hate seeing brains, it's in my head, thats where I want it to stay, safe and sound. Ehh, I'm getting sick just thinking about it... Some people in this world are just so evil.

i agree with you, a movie about this would be just wrong and i also agree that a brain should stay inside a head, doesnt matter whos brain, it should stay upstairs. this man should get locked up for the rest of his life, i mean, why would you wanna do something like this?? its just sick and i hope they nail his @ss to the wall.

thry haven't made a movie out of it. But in the UK we were presented with this rather disturbing drama about his life and so called "hobbies.

i didn't enjoy it
