- Updated again

Lucid1-2_full.gif

Long awaited, but finally done.

Changes in 1.2:

- White day text options added

- Event and "Today" styles redone, they flow slightly better

- White days redone: now have a slight shadow to emphasize them

a tiny bit more (make it look somewhat 'embossed')

Snipped from the readme (only a portion). PLEASE READ IT (and the rest):

FEATURES:
------
- Sports five options of display
  - Four of which are different elements shown/hidden (of the large
calendar) and one which is a mini calendar (shown in screenshot also)
  - Smoked version is included.
  - Now included are white day text versions of the calendar (by popular
	demand)

- General features:
  - The event reminder dialog (at every startup of Rainlendar) is also
skinned to fit the style of the calendar (also transparent, etc)
  - You can close the event and to-do lists with the small close button
at the bottom left of each dialog

- Regular/Large size calendar:
  - Clicking the little tabs on the bottom left/right of the calendar
switches the month to the next/previous month (aka. the Month Change
	Buttons).
	> You have the option of showing/not showing these small tabs
  - If you have events shown on your calendar days, you can choose to have
it show/hide an exclaimation mark along with the standard "brighter
background" and "stands out more than regular days, but less than
	Today".
  - Clicking on the year of the calendar toggles the display of the
	events list.
  - Clicking on the month of the calendar toggles the display of the
	to-do list.

- Mini Calendar:
  - A lot smaller than the regular size calendar.
  - Only shows the month, weekday name, and the date.
  - Mouse scrolling does not affect the month (ONLY shows Today, does not
	change according to "selected" month)
  - Clicking on the month of the mini calendar toggles the display of
	the to-do list.
  - Clicking on the weekday name of the mini calendar toggles the display
	of the events list.

Excellent work, unfortunately I'll not be able to use it :(

I run 1600x1200 resolution and it's just too small for me to read comfortably, also most of the wallpapers I usually use are lighter in color and the text just becomes unreadable.

If you ever made a slightly larger version with darker text then it would never leave my computer.

thanks for the comments everyone. i intentionally made this as compact as i could, but i'll see to that larger version maybe the coming weekend. weekdays i won't be skinning stuff.

on another note, i really don't understand the customize.org ranking system. i get crappy rankings for anything i post, it seems like. oh well

@ArnoldRoelz: i don't know what you mean by the weekdays being strange or whatever

it's like in the preview you provide the week days begin on sunday but i guess that's how your date in windows is configured so he must have thought it was always like that for this skin.

    • Wow, imagine you dump hundreds of hours into completing things and unlocking stuff and you lose it all. Back in the day when cheats were built into games, you could at least unlock things again that way without spending hundreds of hours again. But those days are long gone for some reason as no one builds cheats into games anymore. So it's even more painful that studio that's on its 6th installment **** it up so badly.
    • Spotify finally removes the disco ball app icon in the latest update by Ivan Jenic Image: Spotify Spotify has just released an update that removes its now infamous disco ball icon. The update reverts the app icon to the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. The icon arrived on May 13 as part of the company's 20th anniversary celebration and was always intended to be temporary, though Spotify only confirmed that after the backlash started. The disco ball took the internet by storm, as the reception was split. A vocal group of users called it ugly and disorienting, with some iOS users noting that the 3D glowing effect made the app look like it was stuck mid-update. On the other end, the icon picked up a following of its own. Its retro, three-dimensional look immediately stood out against the flat, minimalist aesthetic that has dominated app design for years. It even started a small movement, spawning what people started calling "discomorphism," a mashup of disco and skeuomorphism. Other brands started posting disco ball versions of their own logos, probably in an effort to ride the wave of memes that flooded the internet during late May. Spotify has had a turbulent relationship with its user base lately. Besides the disco ball icon, which certainly wasn't appreciated by everyone, the company has also received backlash for its willingness to include AI-generated music on its platform. On May 17, Spotify promised the old icon would return “in a few weeks.” And now it looks like that time has finally arrived. So, whether you liked the disco ball or it made you uncomfortable, it’s now gone for good. The next time you update the Spotify app on your phone, the old, flat-design icon will return.
