I think that covers everything.

Well, as simple as I could get it, yet with easy access to GAIM and amaroK. I've been using Ubuntu Breezy, between Gnome and XFCE back and forth for the past 48 hours nonstop, and unlike previous times trying out linux, i think I may actually use it full time (except forgaming).

Only thing I wouldn't mind is a Linux equivalent of RK Launcher or a dock program. I found the starter bar for gdesklets, but it confused the heck out me me. Any ideas?

Oh, and hi again, everyone :)

Glad to see you're back :punk:

Funny you should mention your distro transition - I recently went from arch (which was installed following your first recommendation of it) to deb-etch on one of my older boxes :D

Just switched back to Arch. Openbox 3.3rc2, rox, torsmo, pympc.

Oh, and hi again, everyone :)

Very slick (Y)

I gave Fluxbox a try the other day and it didn't really do anything for me. However I may try Openbox later. I just need to get used to Rox first.

can you tell me please, where did you get this wallpaper? i really like it.

I have, in the last few days, switched over almost completely to Linux. I have used it on servers for years, but could never get myself to use it as a workstation. I think that has changed; the only thing I've booted back into Windows for so far was to play NFS: Most Wanted :D Although I still have a secondary Windows box just for maintaining my iPod, playing music with iTunes, playing my Audible audio books, and syncing my Blackberry.

Here's my main workstation:

Ubuntu 5.10

Controls: Clearlooks-Clarity

Window Border: Blended (Small Double Round)
