I didn't really know were to post this, but i'll just put it here for now. I took a picture of my friend while he had a flashlight on him, but my other friend asked him a question and look what happened. Pretty cool.

I did that once, it's really wierd. you move as it takes the picture and since it cant capture actual movement, it seems to do that.

Isn't that to do with long exposures? The shutter speed on the camera is slower in the dark to allow more time for light to enter the lens, so any movement like that guy turning his head would cause that effect. Slow SS combined with camera shake can cause blurred lights, for instance when photographing a lit-up city scene.
