Has anyone heard any news on this phone? Like the release date?

There is still no official release date on this phone. It is rumored tobeout for B2B on the 16th, and then released on the 18th or the 22nd. We will see.

but after seeings it's CDMA brother from Sprint in action (I believe the PPC 6700)

I just received the Verizon version of this phone (XV-6700) today, and it is INCREDIBLE. :woot: Best PPC phone I've ever used. I wish I could give you guys more info/pics but I'm bound by NDA until the phones street release date which is supposed to be early Dec. :(

I'm so tired of waitin for Cingular to get the 8125 that I'm not going to wait any longer. There's the Qtek 9100, but that one cost $650 on dweiniger.com and there's the 6700 which looks more and more nicer the more that i see it. It's only $419.00 online and if you order it online, you get the activation fee waived. :)

I need to get a new phone w/ Cingular or T-Mobile in March ---> I think I might go w/ T-Mobile since their data plans look cheaper.

I will see what is available when my current contract expires, then I will make a decision. If I had to decide right now I would get a BlackBerry w/ T-Mobile service. These phones look nice though.

I believe the international versions either do not have EDGE or have EDGE running on 2100... which doesn't help us here in the US.

I have given up on release dates. They keep getting pushed back farther and father. I will get it when it comes out and I am guessing that will be sometime in mid - late January.

It was released to B2B (business to business) customers today. Hopefully I will have mine before Friday!

I just ordered my 8125 y-day through the premier business site for Cingular. $314.99 for the phone. It shipped already and is scheduled for delivery on the 13th!!! :)
