Flash 8 or MX2004?

If this is in the wrong section or i'm asking stupid questions, please forgive me. Okay, i'm deciding whether to use flash professional 8 or MX2004 in developing my flash game for a college project. Are there any drawbacks if i just do everything in flash 8? I mean all browsers can view flash apps developed using the latest version of flash right? And also actionscript 1.0 or 2.0? I really dont know much about flash stuff coz i never learned to use it before. But since my project requires it, i'll have to use it anyway. Opinions/suggestions please. Thanks.

flash 8 have more better capability for video than MX 2004, you can transform a video in FLV without to open flash, a lot more new stuff in the media components, I?m using the FLASH 8 pro for my projects of my career and I?m very happy!

ok thanks man. I've done some research too. Just that now i have too many questions on multiplayer that confuses me. :wacko: How i wish there was someone experienced who could be my mentor.

Flash 8 offers little or no disadvantages, so there is no reason not to use it unless you are unable to obtain a copy of it.
