BlueFiberOptics
Can anyone tell me if these would be a good purchase? I'm used to just the speakers on a TV, so any type of surround sound would be a big upgrade for me. :) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3880827 If you have other links to better speakers for around the same price range, feel free to let me know! Shoop
Wow :D Looks great to me. I use one of those vase speakers. They are quite powerful for their size.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted November 15, 2005 Veteran Share Posted November 15, 2005 I guarantee you they sound like crap. Sorry, but you just can't expect ANY quality for $40. moved to home theater forum

Can you give me something around $100? Or are sound systems too expensive?
bangbang023 Veteran Posted November 15, 2005 Veteran Share Posted November 15, 2005 To be honest, the cheapest system I would look at is something like this Sony: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1110263641433

goji
Or purchase a used multimedia system by logitech or klipsch. If you use eBay, there are many options there within a 100 dollar price range. Newer log's will come with decoders, the Klipsch will not; both are good. For you, Id say pick up a Logitech 5.1 setup, then you enjoy your dvd movies as well. GK
