Uploading files to phpmyadmin using Filezilla

Question

saiz66    3

These are the instructions to upload files to phpmyadmin:

So, phpmyadmin lives here: http://tyr.trentu.ca/phpmyadmin/

Users can use filezilla http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/ on windows to

upload files using sftp or ssh to tyr.trentu.ca into the public_html

directory. They are then available at http://tyr.trentu.ca/~<username>/

Make sure the files are named .html or .php depending on what you want.

Also index.php and index.html are the default pages for a directory.

All files must be readable by other users, directories executable.

Then you can connect to the DB server at localhost in the normal way

from your php scipt files.

I was also given a username and password.

Could somebody tell me what the URL I should put in to Filezilla? and what port? I am new to filezilla and I cant connect. Thanks!

You can't 'upload files to phpmyadmin', phpma is just a database administrating program.
