i think the symbols have something to do with hotmail, another message (not from ms) had weird symbols too.

anyways, i'm really looking forward to this beta, looks like they will be changing and adding many things :D

No clue, but they can take their sweet old time; i'm not complaining. The longer we wait the better the beta will be, ie more things to test etc.
